Biomedical Visualization is a technique of communicating science and medicine using visual imagery. An illustrator uses visuals, audios, interactive learning, models, and multimedia to promote the understanding of complex biological systems and processes.
Carolina Gudanowski, doing business as C.G. Arts, is pursuing her passions in both art and science with her degree in Biomedical Visualization. Her interest in biology led her to the undergraduate study of Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago. During her undergraduate work with the University's vertebrate paleontologist, Dr. Paul Sereno, Carolina was exposed to many scientific illustrators and sculptors. The science of evolution drew her into the field but the intricate illustrations and the passion behind the artist caught her eye. Carolina wants to share her knowledge and talent to help others understand and appreciate science as well.
